Bert-Co has a full multi-shift electronic prepress department featuring the KODAK-CREO Prinergy workflow. We are equipped with (4) four KODAK-CREO trendsetters to accommodate all press formats. Bert-Co's prepress department supplies digital imaging file processing for all of Bert-Co's manufacturing divisions from the most complicated packaging project to the fast pace, quick turn web job.

Bert-Co offers many types of digital proofing from laser generated (Dot) proofing to high end ink jet proofs. All proofing is carefully profiled and calibrated for the press and substrate your project will be running on.

Bert-Co has just introduced Stocatto screening. Stocatto is CREO's brand of Stochastic screening. Utilizing 20 micron screening, this new form of printing increases quality, sharpness, registration, and color consistency by leaps and bounds over the traditional elliptical dot screening method. Another incredible advantage is the fact that there is no possibility of “ Moiré ” patterns due to the fact that all of the screen angles have been eliminated. This means that designers can use many extra colors without fear of the traditional “ Moiré ” patterns.

Our most recent addition is Synapse Insite. Another fine CREO product, Insite is a front-end for our customers to submit, review and approve files to go to press… all from the comfort of their own office. Online collaboration can be possible with real time updates.
